# FFA & Guilds

FFA arenas, rotating events, seasons, leaderboards, guilds, and competitive progression.

PvPTiers FFA is an always-available combat space built around open fights, recurring events, seasonal competition, and guild progression.

{% hint style="info" %}
**FFA is casual PvPTiers gameplay.** The Server Rules apply here, including the additional FFA rules on kill farming, repeated toxic interruption of obvious 1v1s, and combat advantages.

## FFA modes

PvPTiers is designed around two permanent FFA modes plus one rotating seasonal mode:

| Mode              | Availability                                                  |
| ----------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Sword FFA**     | Permanent                                                     |
| **Netherite FFA** | Permanent                                                     |
| **Seasonal FFA** | Rotates each season and can use a more experimental PvP style |

The rollout plan starts with Sword FFA, followed by Netherite FFA and then the first seasonal mode.

Seasonal modes can use a different competitive kit or a more unusual FFA ruleset. They are intended to keep the mode fresh without replacing the permanent Sword and Netherite experiences.

## Arenas

Permanent FFA modes are designed with several arena types:

| Arena            | Purpose                                                          |
| ---------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Main Arena** | The standard open FFA experience |
| **War Arena**    | Used for guild-war combat                                        |
| **VIP+ Arena**   | Separate arena for eligible VIP+ players                         |
| **Rivals Arena** | Restricted to players who are **Tier 3+ in MCPVP for that mode** |
| **Media Arena** | Separate arena for eligible media players |

Seasonal FFA modes use a simpler setup with one main arena and spawn.

## Events & schedule

FFA is designed to keep activity moving throughout the day.

### Major events

A major FFA event runs automatically every **3 hours**. The event rotation includes:

* **Juggernaut**
* **KOTH**
* **Infection**
* **Weapon Roulette**
* **Escalating Chaos**
* **Last Man Standing**

### Other recurring activity

* **Chat games:** every **30 minutes**
* **Bounty selection:** every **hour**

For the exact XP earned from these activities, see XP & Coins.

## Seasons

FFA seasons are planned to run every **2 months**.

Each season can introduce:

* a seasonal theme;
* a rotating FFA mode;
* seasonal cosmetics and crate content;
* fresh seasonal leaderboards;
* prizes for top performers.

Permanent FFA modes continue alongside the seasonal mode.

## Leaderboards

FFA tracks both **seasonal** and **lifetime** competition.

### Individual seasonal kills

The **FFA Seasonal Individual Kill Top** ranks the top 10 eligible killers for the season.

| Place | Coin reward |
| ----: | ----------: |
|   1st |          75 |
|   2nd |          60 |
|   3rd |          45 |
|   4th |          30 |
|   5th |          25 |
|   6th |          20 |
|   7th |          15 |
|   8th |          10 |
|   9th |          10 |
|  10th |          10 |

Seasonal boards reset when the season ends. Lifetime leaderboards remain separate.

## FFA loadouts

The documented FFA progression includes the following loadouts:

| Loadout     | Unlock           |
| ----------- | ---------------- |
| **Beast**   | Free             |
| **Speed**   | Free             |
| **Axe**     | Network Level 50 |
| **Stealth** | Network Level 75 |

Network level progression is explained on XP & Coins.

## Guilds

Guilds let players compete together across FFA.

Open the in-game **`/g` menu** to access guild features.

Guilds have both:

* a **guild tier / score** used for longer-term standing; and
* a separate **Seasonal Guild Top** based only on eligible FFA kills during the current season.

These are separate systems. The lifetime guild ranking does not determine the seasonal rewards.

## Guild rules

The normal PvPTiers rules still apply while you are in a guild. Guild membership, guild chat, and Guild Wars do not create exceptions to the Server Rules or the FFA / Duels rules.

### War integrity

Guild Wars must be played legitimately.

* Do not stage or fix wars so one side intentionally loses.
* Do not use alternate accounts, secondary guilds, friends, or coordinated feeding to farm wins, kills, statistics, or guild progress.
* War results, kills, and progression must be earned through genuine play.
* If a war is found to have been staged or boosted, staff may remove the resulting progress, statistics, rewards, or other benefits and punish the players who arranged it.

### Guild chat & war chat

Guild chat and war chat follow the same conduct rules as the rest of PvPTiers.

Racism, harassment, threats, targeted abuse, or other prohibited conduct can be punished when there is sufficient evidence.

### Guild names, tags & descriptions

Guild identity must remain appropriate.

Guild names, tags, and descriptions must not contain:

* racism or slurs;
* political bait;
* content designed primarily to provoke or start drama;
* other material that violates the normal PvPTiers rules.

Depending on severity, staff may require a change, change the guild identity directly, or disband the guild.

### Guild blacklists

Guilds that repeatedly or seriously violate the rules can be blacklisted.

Individual players may also be prohibited from creating, owning, or running guilds.

Trying to evade a guild blacklist or ownership restriction by:

* using an alternate account;
* creating a replacement guild;
* transferring leadership to another player while continuing to control the guild;

can extend the punishment and may result in a permanent restriction.

### Guild Wars use FFA & Duels rules

There is no separate combat-rules exception for Guild Wars.

If an action would be punishable in FFA or Casual Duels, it can also be punished in a Guild War. This includes cheating, bug abuse, feeding kills, boosting, and other unfair combat advantages.

### Leadership responsibility

Guild leaders are not automatically punished because one member breaks a rule.

However, leadership may be held responsible where they knowingly allow repeated rule-breaking, help organize it, encourage it, or participate in it.

In serious or repeated cases, action may be taken against the guild itself as well as the individual players involved.

### Guild disbandment

Staff may disband a guild if it is being used to:

* abuse server systems;
* farm progress illegitimately;
* stage or boost wars;
* evade punishments;
* repeatedly facilitate serious rule-breaking.

Disbandment is normally reserved for serious cases or situations where a guild has already been warned and continues the behavior.

## Seasonal Guild Top

Seasonal Guild Top counts eligible kills credited to the killer's guild **at the time of the kill**.

The following do **not** count:

* kills while unguilded;
* kills against someone in the same guild;
* arranged or automated kill farming;
* repeat-victim kills that are not eligible for XP.

Changing guild later does not move or duplicate historical kills.

Eligible guild-war kills can count under the same rules.

### Guild prizes

The top three guilds receive a fixed Coin pool distributed directly to their top 10 eligible kill contributors.

| Guild place | Total Coin pool |
| ----------: | --------------: |
|         1st |             300 |
|         2nd |             200 |
|         3rd |             100 |

### 1st-place guild distribution

75 / 60 / 45 / 30 / 25 / 20 / 15 / 10 / 10 / 10 Coins

### 2nd-place guild distribution

29 / 27 / 25 / 23 / 21 / 19 / 17 / 15 / 13 / 11 Coins

### 3rd-place guild distribution

15 / 14 / 13 / 12 / 11 / 9 / 8 / 7 / 6 / 5 Coins

The payout goes directly to the contributing players' personal Coin balances. Guild leaders cannot redirect the pool.

## Ties and season cutoff

At the end of a season, the seasonal kill ledger is frozen.

If two guilds finish with the same eligible kill count, the higher place goes to:

1. the guild that reached its final count first;
2. then, if still tied, the stable guild ID.

## FFA rules

Read the Server Rules, including the additional FFA rules.

In particular:

* do not use alternate accounts or friends to farm kills or statistics;
* do not repeatedly interrupt obvious 1v1 fights in a deliberately toxic way;
* all Duels rules relating to combat cheats and unfair advantages also apply in FFA.

The guild-specific rules above add enforcement around Guild Wars, guild identity, leadership, blacklists, and guild-level abuse without replacing the normal PvPTiers rules.
